I second the Eyes Wide Shut trailer... I remember seeing it in the cinema, I must've been 12, before knowing anything about films or Kubrick, yet it I remember it vividly.
I've read the book and seen the movies multiple times (I like to revisit it once a year). I think it's one of the more thrilling adaptations as the book breaks the stories into half chapters, while the Wachowskis and Twyker chose a fast past-weaving of the stories. Sure, it has some minor flaws (sometimes the makeup prosthetics really take me out of the story) but it's a beautiful story about the journey of a human soul that reminds me quite a bit of the Anthroposophical writings of Rudolph Steiner.
Starting a Teaser/Trailer Showcase for new projects, but I think these representations of films made or to be made is in its last days and will be replaced by something strangely different and exciting.

Will do so now Brooke. I personally felt that when we have a post that is dependent on an author's work, we should provide attribution. I recognize that is unorthodox, but it felt correct to. me. Thanks for writing the post though!

I've never heard or read the book Cloud Atlas, but the trailer really had an effect on me as one of my favourite trailers ever.

It’s 20 years old at this point, but I think it still holds up.
